Veal and Prosciutto Skewers

Preparation time: 15 minutes Cooking time: 8 minutes

Ingredients

  • 500g veal loin steak, cut in half
  • 4 slices prosciutto, cut in half lengthwise
  • 8 sage leaves
  • 8 Angas Park Dried Pears
  • 4 skewers, soaked in water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Method

  1. Place the veal under some plastic wrap and beat with a meat mallet until approximately 2mm thick.
  2. Lay out a piece of prosciutto. Place a piece of veal on top, then a sage leaf and a pear. Roll up to form a parcel. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
  3. Place two rolls on each skewer. Heat oil in a frying pan. When hot add skewers and cook for 2-3 minutes each side or until cooked. Serve on a bed of baby spinach.
